An upright shrub with ovate glossy green leaves and gold margins. Making an attractive shrub as a specimen and a slow growing hedging backdrop for the garden. An evergreen plant giving colour all year round. A Royal Horticulture Society Award of Garden Merit winner with golden yellow new leaves which mature to a mustard green colour keeping its bright yellow margin with a glossy shine. A lovely little shrub for containers or borders which occasionally has small inconspicuous flowers and pink fruits which are best left for the birds. This Japanese spindle will make a dense hedge too which is perfect for hosting wildlife. Will grow anywhere but will lose its golden colouring if grown in shade. Final height and spread 2m x 1m.
